INDIA’S WHOLESALE PRICES GAIN
India’s wholesale prices gained in April, for the first time in 18 months, according to reports on Monday.
India’s wholesale food prices gained 4.23 per cent in April, while the cost of manufactured goods also increased.
CANADIAN CRUDE IMPORTS DOWN
Canadian refineries received 7.6 million cubic metres of crude oil in February, down 5.7 per cent from February 2015, Statistics Canada said in a report on Monday.
Over the same period, refinery receipts of domestic crude oil increased 2.8 per cent to 5.7 million cubic metres.
According to StatsCan, crude oil imports decreased 24.2 per cent to 1.9 million cubic metres in February, representing 25.2 per cent of total crude oil received at refineries in Canada.
IRELAND’S EXPORTS DROP IN MARCH
Ireland’s exports fell two per cent in March, according to reports on Monday.
Lower medical and pharmaceutical product exports contributed to the declines, as sales of those products fell by 11 per cent in March.
