US PRIVATE SECTOR GAINS EMPLOYEES
The US private sector gained 200,000 employees in March, according to reports on Monday.
Private payrolls gains in February were revised downward to 205,000 from a previously reported 214,000.
CANADA’S RAIL FREIGHT UP IN JANUARY
The volume of rail freight carried in Canada totalled 27.5 million tonnes in January, up 3.7 per cent from the same month last year, Statistics Canada said in a report on Wednesday.
According to StatsCan, freight originating in Canada increased 6.4 per cent to 25 million tonnes. These shipments are composed of both non-intermodal and intermodal freight.
ANNUAL DUTCH GROWTH PROJECTED AT 1.8 PER CENT
The Netherland’s annual growth is estimated at 1.8 per cent from 2018 to 2021, according to reports on Wednesday.
However, household purchasing power is not expected to increase.
