‘The Arabian is the oldest breed of which we have any detailed records. Early historians and writers have been successful in tracing back to the first stallion that gave descent in Arabia; this was Zad el Rakib, noted for his progeny in the time of Baz, the great great grandson of Noah in about 3,000 B.C.’
