Weyburn hosts Canadian Charolais Youth Conference

At the Canadian Charolais Youth Conference and Show held in Weyburn, Sask., July 24-27, 90 youth participated with over 90 head being shown.

Events included steer, heifer and bull calf judging, keep and cull, marketing, showmanship, social media seminar, steer grading demonstration of the live judged steers, vet seminar, photography and art competitions. The annual general meeting and board elections were also held.

The national board includes: Shae-Lynn Evans (adult advisor); Keegan Blehm (president), Man.; Reegan McLeod (vice-president), Alta.; Haley Rosso (secretary), Sask.; Calina Evans, Sask.; Tyson Black (treasurer), Ont.; Brad Fergus, Ont.; Megan Perih, Man.; and Evan Jamieson, Alta.
