The Canadian Limousin Association is pleased to welcome Nicole Scott to the position of CLA registrar. She joins current staff Shayla Chappell and Laura Ecklund at the Canadian Limousin office. Scott hails from a mixed operation south of Ottawa, Ont., running just under 1,000 acres of grain and hay as well as 30 head of Limousin and Limousin-influenced cattle. She attended Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alta. where she achieved a diploma in animal science technology and is currently finishing up her diploma in agribusiness. “I’m looking forward to working with the Canadian Limousin Association because raising Limousin cattle has always been a passion of mine,” says Scott. She takes over the position vacated by Dallas Wise.

The Canadian Junior Limousin Association (CJLA) board, along with volunteers Amy Miller and Amanda Matthews, hosted a successful CJLA Virtual Impact Show this summer. Thank you to judges Katie Songer, Canada; Jordie Bubba, Canada; Sam Cunningham, U.S.; and Erica Halliday, Australia, for their expertise and time judging the virtual show.
