  • Vermont is recovering from heavy flooding after receiving two months worth of rain in the span of two days. A state of emergency was declared for the entire state on Tuesday, with the flooding causing tens of millions of dollars of damage and displacing thousands of people.

 

  • As NATO leaders meet in Lithuania this week, China has expressed its anger at a communique from the military alliance that portrays China as a threat to NATO’s interests and security.
