Dr. Trent Wennekamp on biosecurity, BRD and reducing your herd’s risk for the disease.

Shipping fever. Bovine respiratory disease (BRD). Whatever moniker you favour, the fact is that it remains one of the most costly health problems in beef cattle today. Dr. Trent Wennekamp, a vet at Lloydminster Animal Hospital, tells about some of the risk factors for BRD in cow-calf herds and offers some practical tips on preventing and managing the disease.
