The 2024 Canadian Shorthorn Association AGM was held in conjunction with this year’s Canadian Junior Shorthorn Association National Show in Saskatoon, Sask., from July 31 to August 3. There were over 40 participants in the junior show, hailing from B.C. to New Brunswick, who traveled to Prairieland Park and exhibited Shorthorn cattle.

The association thanks the many volunteers, sponsors and judges who made the show a success. The show concluded with an awards ceremony and fund-raising auction. The association would also like to thank the new and repeat donors to this auction, and all who bid and purchased these lots.

The Canadian Shorthorn Association annual meeting was well-attended, and the Saskatchewan Shorthorn Association did a great job hosting once again. The Maritime Shorthorn Association looks forward to hosting next year’s meeting in Nova Scotia next spring.
