– The US Federal Reserve began its two-day policy meeting on Tuesday, with many analysts expecting a rate hike to follow.
The Fed has forecasted raising interest rates three times this year—which underpinned the US dollar in early activity.
The meeting is expected to wrap up on Wednesday.
– Canadian refineries received 7.8 million cubic metres of crude oil in December, down two per cent from the same month in 2015, Statistics Canada said in a report on Tuesday.
