Winnipeg, June 13 (CNS Canada) – The Canadian dollar was
relatively flat against its U.S. counterpart on Wednesday morning,
as gains in gold were offset by losses in crude oil.
Pessimism over Canada’s trading relationship with the United
States cast a bearish shadow over the loonie.
At 9:10 CDT Wednesday morning the Canadian dollar was at
US$0.7692 or C$1.3002 which compares with Tuesday’s North American
close of US$0.7690 or C$1.3004.
At 9:10 CDT Wednesday morning, the TSX was up 23.14 points, or
0.13%, at 16,310.02.
