Canadian Dollar and Business Outlook

Winnipeg, July 30 (CNS Canada) – The Canadian dollar was
slightly weaker in value compared to its U.S. counterpart Monday
morning.
The loonie was tracking losses in gold bullion, natural gas and
global economic uncertainty.
However, the loonie took some strength from gains in crude oil
and silver.
At 8:53 CDT Monday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7666
or C$1.3045, which compares with Friday’s North American close of
US$0.7656 or C$1.3062.
At 8:53 CDT Monday morning, the TSX was down 61.78 points, or
0.38%, at 16,393.95.
