WINNIPEG, Nov. 14 (CNS Canada) – The Canadian dollar is slightly up Wednesday morning.
At 9:13 CST Wednesday morning the Canadian dollar was at US$0.7559 or C$1.3229, which compares with Tuesday’s North American close of US$0.7552 or C$1.3241.
Oil prices Wednesday morning were up US$1.34 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude this morning climbed to US$57.03 per barrel after closing yesterday at US$55.59 per barrel. Wednesday’s close marked the 12th consecutive day that oil dropped.
Gold is up Wednesday morning to US$1,203.70 per ounce from yesterday’s close of US$1,201.40 per ounce.
The Toronto TSX/S&P Composite Index was up 72.09 points Wednesday morning shortly after open at 15,203.84.
