Canadian dollar and business outlook

WINNIPEG, Nov. 9 (MarketsFarm) – The Canadian dollar was holding steady Tuesday morning, awaiting some fresh market moving news.
At 8:58 a.m. CST Tuesday morning, the Canadian dollar was at US$0.8033 or US$1=C$1.2449 which was unchanged from Monday’s North American close.
Bank of Canada officials will speak at a couple of events later in the day, and investors will be following their comments closely for hints on future rate moves.
West Texas Intermediate was up 1.11 per cent at US$82.84 per barrel.
The TSX was weaker, down 31.57 points at 8:58 CST, trading at 21,524.97 points.
