WINNIPEG, Aug. 8 (MarketsFarm) – The Canadian dollar was stronger Monday morning, seeing a recovery to start the week after Friday’s losses.

Broad gains in outside equity and energy markets contributed to the firmer tone in the Canadian currency, as investors showed an increased appetite for risk.

The TSX was up 105.83 points at 9:23 CDT, trading at 19,725.96 points.
