Winnipeg, March 26 – The Canadian dollar was holding steady Wednesday morning, finding some support in the overnight strength seen in the Australian and New Zealand currencies.
A report from CanadianForex said the loonie has performed well along with the other commodity-based currencies.
At 8:50 CDT Wednesday, the Canadian dollar was at US$0.8961 or US$=C$1.1159 which compares with Tuesday’s North American close of US $0.8961, or US$=C$1.1159.
The TSX was up 32.21 points Wednesday morning at 8:50 CDT, to sit at 14,331.70.
