Canadian Financial Close: Canadian dollar dips, TSX stable

WINNIPEG, Feb. 25 (CNS Canada) – The Canadian dollar dipped slightly on Tuesday, showing a modest decrease from Monday’s close.

The Canadian dollar closed at US$0.7579 or C$1.3195 on Tuesday, which compares to Monday’s close of US$0.7591 or C$1.3174.

The S&P/TSX Composite Index closed up 10.88 points at 16,067.91. This moderate lift is due to marijuana producers and consumer staples.

Canada’s agricultural sector faired as follows:
