WINNIPEG, Feb. 14 (CNS Canada) – The following is a glance at the news moving markets in Canada and globally.

– Airbus will stop production of the world’s largest passenger airplane in 2021. The A380 superjumbo jet has seen a reduction in orders, with air-carrier Emirates recently cutting an outstanding order for 53 planes down to only 14.

– The United States is reportedly considering pushing back the deadline for increasing tariffs on Chinese goods by 60 days in order to allow more time to reach a deal. Increased tariffs are set to be implemented on March 1, and representatives of the two countries are meeting in Beijing this week.

– Germany’s economy saw zero growth in the fourth quarter of 2018, according to a report from the Federal Statistics Office. The steady reading came after a contraction of 0.2 per cent the previous quarter and kept Europe’s largest economy from officially falling into a recession.
