WINNIPEG, May 17 (CNS Canada) – Russian barley exports are running well behind the previous year’s pace, according to a report from UkrAgroConsult. During the nine months ended in March the country had exported 2.26 million tonnes of barley, which is about 1.3 million tonnes less than during the same timeframe the previous year.
Spring cereal seeding in Ukraine is roughly 90 per cent complete, according to a report from UkrAgroConsult. That’s down slightly from 92.5 per cent at the same point the previous year.
