Prices for oats in Manitoba rose 14 cents during the past
week, according to the latest data from the Prairie Ag Hotwire.
Prices are going for $2.86 to $3.39 per bushel.
Bids for feed barley in North Dakota are holding steady at
US$2.30 to US$2.70 a bushel.
Stripe rust has been spotted in one of the biggest wheat

Recently, the harvest across much of Texas has slowed due to
high humidity, according to a report in the High Plains Journal.
Chicago Board of Trade corn futures picked up one to two
cents per bushel on Wednesday, supported by fund short-covering
and improving ethanol demand.
Feed wheat bids in the key cattle feeding area of
Lethbridge, Alberta were in the C$193 to C$201 per tonne range
as of May 19, which was roughly five dollars less compared to
the previous week, according to the latest pricing information
from the provincial government. Feed barley prices were up five
to seven dollars compared to the previous week, at C$177 to
C$180 per tonne in Lethbridge.
