– Crude oil futures fell in early activity on Monday, pressured by ideas that the OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) production cap, which had supported values, may not be extended.
Some OPEC members had suggested extending the production cap, which is set to expire in June, while other members disagree.
– The US dollar fell to a four-month-low, sitting at its weakest since November, against a bundle of currencies on Monday, pressured by US President Donald Trump’s failure to push through a healthcare reform bill, according to reports out of the country on Monday.
