– Speaking to NATO officials in Brussels on Thursday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for help from Western nations in the form of “weapons, weapons and more weapons.” The latest developments in the war are seeing Russia shift its focus from the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv to the eastern Donbas region.

– An estimated 1,100 railcars carrying grain are stuck in western Ukraine, waiting to cross the border into Poland, according to a report from Reuters. Over 24,000 railcars in total are backed up in the country, carrying goods such as iron ore, coal, and vegetable oil. Grain would normally move out of the country through the Black Sea, but the main ports remain blocked by the war.
