StatCan is set to issue its consumer price index report on Tuesday, with projections of the rate falling to 3.1 to 3.2 per cent from 3.8 in September. The 38-year-old chief executive officer was ousted on Friday in what was reportedly as a “chaotic boardroom coup.” The company’s president, Greg Brockman, was also dismissed. In a report on Monday, more than 500 OpenAI employees signed an open letter to the board demanding they reinstate Altman and Brockman.
