Trudeau also discussed climate change, economic investment, gender equality, but also mentioned that Canada was determined to support South Korea’s efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula. In a news conference later in the day with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, it was announced that the two countries reached an agreement to co-operate on supply chains for critical minerals needed for the manufacturing of electric vehicles.
