The fall show season got underway with the Olds Fall Classic Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Olds, Alta. Dennis and Katie Serhienko from Maymont, Sask., judged the show. The Olds Fall Classic is part of the Alberta Supreme Stakes, which recognizes exhibitors and their respective female and bull champions and reserves for their outstanding achievement at this show, the Stockade Round-Up in Lloydminster, Sask. and Farmfair International in Edmonton, Alta. Congratulations to all this year’s winners:
- Grand Champion Simmental Bull was Mader Big Energy 97J, Canadian Sires/Canadian Donors, Olds, Alta. Grand Champion Simmental Female was GVR Miss Peppa 21J, Black Gold Simmental, Lloydminster, Sask.
