Growing Canada’s beef herd: CCA’s priorities working with new federal government

The Canadian Speckle Park Association board welcomes Janice Harasymchuk, as president and Peter Watson as vice president. Harv Fehr is treasurer, Curtis McAleer is chair of the commercial/breed improvement committee and Makenzie Olson is the youth coordinator. Rounding out the board are Craig Brown (director) and Art Pruim (member-at-large).

In other news, Pruim, who farms near Warman, Sask., was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medal for his commitment to agriculture. Congratulations Art! The association appreciates the work you do, as does the agricultural industry at large.
