Stettler, Alta., welcomed 68 juniors in July as the town hosted the Canadian National Junior Gelbvieh Show. Activities included a cow camp for young participants, team grooming, marketing, show team judging, quiz bowl and Do More Ag visual art projects. The kids demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian beef industry and the good things producers are doing and where improvements could be made.

Keston Hollman took home Grand Champion Purebred Female with RWG Goodnight 3415. Lincoln Hollman took reserve with JM Kloee 332K and BNHK Minnesoda Chrome 15M at side. The Pee Wee Aggregate winner was Avry Pearson, Junior Aggregate winner was Shelby Horn and Senior Aggregate winner was Colby Hollman.

Congratulations as well to Kelsy Schmitz, the 2024 Junior Gelbvieh Scholarship recipient. She will be study agronomy at the University of Saskatchewan.
