Canadian Western Agribition celebrated 25 years of Beef Supreme in November. Red Wilbar Hennessy 3K, a Red Angus bull, was named Supreme bull. The bull is co-owned by Wilbar Cattle Co. at Dundurn, Sask., and Rohrich Cutting Edge Ranch in North Dakota.
The Supreme champion female was Wheatland Lady 211H, a Simmental cow, with calf Wheatland Bull 4177M. Owned by Wheatland Cattle Co. at Bienfait, Sask., Michelson Land and Cattle, and G2 Cattle Co.

On the Charolais side, SVY Covergirl 232K, exhibited by Serhienko Cattle Co. of Maymont, Sask., was selected Grand Champion female, with her calf at her side. The Grand Champion Charolais bull was Beck’s Throttle 201K, exhibited by Steppler Farms Ltd. of Miami, Man.

The Grand Champion Shorthorn bull was Gilman’s All In 6K, owned by First Class Shorthorns from Lampman, Sask., with additional owner Gilman Shorthorns. Ontario’s Hill Haven Lilly’s Dream 7G was named Grand Champion Shorthorn female, with her calf at side, a heifer, Hill Haven Lily’s Harmony 5M. She was exhibited by Hill Haven Farm of Stayner, Ont., with additional owners Little Cedar Cattle Company and SCO Shorthorn Farms.
Royal Western Gelbvieh from Alberta’s Red Deer County won the Grand Champion female with RWG Parkland K406 and calf at side RWG Michigan M462. Royal Western also exhibited the Grand Champion bull, RWG Lock the Door L431.

Fladeland Livestock from Gladmar, Sask., showed the top balancer or percentage Gelbvieh female, Fladeland Merlot 13M. The Grand Champion balancer or percentage bull came from Ledgerwood Gelbvieh of Clarkston, Washington.

Limousin winners were Payne Livestock of Lloydminster, Sask., with the Grand Champion female, RPY Paynes Kendal 49K ET. B-Bar Rainmaker 4K from B Bar Cattle of Lucky Lake, Sask., Bohrson Marketing Services, Canadian Sires and La Rhone Limousins of South Africa was Grand Champion bull.
Merit Cattle Co. from Radville, Sask., showed the Grand Champion female Black Angus, Merit Socialite 1028J with calf at side Merit John Wayne 4063M. The Grand Champion bull was HLC CSI Elevation 100K from Hollinger Land and Cattle at Neudorf, Sask., Rafter D4 Cattle Co. and CSI Angus.
In the Red Angus show, Blairs.Ag Cattle from Lanigan, Sask., and Carlos Ojea had the Grand Champion female, Red Blair’s Yankee 129K with calf Red Blair’s Carlos Yankee 116M. The top bull was Red Wilbar Hennessy 3K.
On the Simmental side, Black Gold Simmentals of Lloydminster, Sask., won Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor for the show.
Grand Champion percentage Simmental female was Maplelm Sweet Cheeks 3K, with calf at side Maplelm Sweet Emotion 5M. Exhibited by: Maplelm Cattle Co., Ituna, Sask. Maplem also exhibited the Grand Champion percentage bull, Maplelm Overload 2M.
Grand Champion purebred Simmental female was Wheatland Lady 211H, with calf at side Wheatland Bull 4177M. Grand Champion purebred bull was Grass Roots Red Man 350, exhibited by Bohrson Marketing Services Ltd., Olds, Alta. Additional owners Canadian Sires, and Richards Land and Livestock.
Haroldson’s Marvel 7437 ET 39K, shown by River Valley Polled Herefords from Newburgh, Ont., was the Grand Cham- pion Hereford female. She was exhibited with calf RVP 0016 Maximus 200M, at her side. The Grand Champion bull was CCD Kingsman 3K ET, exhibited by MJT Cattle Company Ltd., of Egerton, Alta. Chesney Doubet is an additional owner.
The Maine Anjou Grand Champion pure- bred female was Miss Rusylvia 20L, exhibited by Rusylvia Cattle Co. of Derwent, Alta. KKS Master Chief 201K, exhibited by G2 Cattle of Macoun, Sask., was Grand Champion purebred male. Additional owners included Vandy Cattle, Byman Cattle and Shuckburgh Cattle.
G2 Cattle also exhibited the Maine Anjou Grand Champion percentage female, Gustafson Dream 3022L. The Grand Champion percentage bull was Vndy Money Talks M424 ET, exhibited by Vandy Cattle of Benson, Sask.
Colgan’s Cattle Company Corp., out of Saskatoon, exhibited the Grand Champion Speckle Park cow, Colgan’s Kiss and Tell 27K, with her calf, Colgan’s Magnum 127M. Additional owner KFC Farms Ltd. They also exhibited the Grand Champion bull, Colgan’s Lawman 08L, again, co-owned by KFC Farms.
The Grand Champion Texas Longhorn female was Jungle Orchid BCB, exhibited by Robbins of Delisle, Sask. Grand Champion bull was L2H Tequila Time, exhibited by Double D Arena at Outlook, Sask.
McIntosh Livestock, out of Maymont, Sask., won the Supreme Champion pen of bulls. Hebert Livestock Ventures of Wawota, Sask., won the Grand Champion pen of bred replacement heifers. And Wadella Ranch of Kipling, Sask. won the Grand Champion pen of open replacement heifers.
