L to R: Melissa, Lois, Blair, Brett, Chantel and Corbin McRae of Mar Mac Farms.

For its fourth year, BMO and the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba honoured six farm families in the province with the 2021 Bank of Montreal Farm Family Award for their commitment to agriculture and the community.

One of the families winning this year’s achievement was Mar Mac Farms from Brandon, Man. This fourth-generation family-run farm raises a combined herd of red and black Angus, along with Simmental, totalling 200 mother cows.

Started back in 1955 and being in business for sixty-seven years is quite an achievement and with the next generation taking over, Mar Mac Farms is in good hands. Congratulations to the McRae family.
