Supreme Champion Bull at Ag-Ex in Brandon, Man., on October 25 was Beck’s Throttle 201K, exhibited by Steppler Farms, Miami, Man. There were eight breeds competing in the Supreme. Champion Jackpot Bull Calf was JMB Duplicate 402M exhibited by JMB Charolais Brookdale. There were 70 bull calves in this part of the Ag-Ex show.

Canadian Western Agribition 2023 boosts economy by $116.5 million

Canadian Western Agribition increased the Saskatchewan economy by $116.5 million in 2023, according to a recent economic impact study conducted by Praxis Consulting Inc. Ag in Motion Innovation Awards handed out

The competition was made up of five categories, each including three contestants. Their innovations ranged from a giant manure bio-gas tank-trailer to a simple plastic calf castration card, from analytical management systems to hand-held leaf-scanning apps.
