AgGronomyTV: Avoiding root rot in pulse crops

Dr. Syama Chatterton, a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, offered a presentation at Manitoba Ag Days on root rot in pulse crops. In a negative ‘two for one,’ attendees may have been surprised to learn of a connection between root rot and another well-known soil pathogen: fusarium. In this video, Chatterton talks about some of the latest findings into aphanomyces and the one practice growers have in their toolbox to keep root rot from developing in their fields.
