2024 was an exciting year for Red Angus cattle with:

  • Extremely strong prices and a strong demand for Red Angus bulls in the spring.
  • Many Red Angus females shown by juniors across Canada.
  • Commercial Red Angus steers and females in demand at the auction markets.
  • Purebred female sales in the fall, which were very exciting with new breeders and great demand.
  • A Red Angus bull was named the Supreme Champion Bull at Farm Fair and Agribition, and went on to be the World Red Angus Bull in 2024.

It is an exciting time in the Red Angus business. For more information contact a local Red Angus breeder, or to become a member go to redangus.ca or the Canadian Red Angus Promotion Society Facebook page.
