Winnipeg, November 14 – Following are a few highlights in the Canadian and world feed grains markets on Monday, November 14.
– Corn futures were about two to four cents per bushel weaker in early activity on Monday, as the country’s bumper harvest and strong currency weighed on the market.
– Canada exported 40,300 tonnes of corn in the week ending November 6, according to data from the Canadian Grain Commission.
– Delivered elevator prices for feed barley range from C$2.34 to C$3.00 per bushel in Saskatchewan, C$2.40 to C$3.70 in Alberta, and C$3.00 to C$3.50 in Manitoba, according to data collected by Prairie Ag Hotwire. Canada’s feed grain production is expected to be larger this year, as quality issues have stemmed from excess moisture during the growing season.
– Delivered elevator prices for feed wheat range from C$3.50 to C$5.31 per bushel across the Prairies, according to Prairie Ag Hotwire.
