The weather models seem to have come to an agreement on the area of low pressure forecasted to come in off the Pacific around mid-week.

It looks like the energy from this system will quickly spin up an area of low pressure over north-central Alberta on Tuesday. The low will then quickly deepen and track into central Manitoba by Wednesday. Central Alberta will likely only see the odd shower late Tuesday, with central and northern Saskatchewan seeing more widespread showers overnight Tuesday and into the early part of Wednesday.

The low is then forecasted to become quite strong as it crosses Manitoba, bringing rain and thundershowers to areas north of the Trans-Canada highway. The low will be fast-moving and should be out of Manitoba by Thursday.
