Feed grains: Corn futures decline

Winnipeg, January 24 (CNS Canada) – Corn futures at the Chicago Board of Trade closed lower on Tuesday, declining after hitting a key technical level.

Spot prices for feed barley prices are sitting around C$2.37 to C$3.59 per bushel, according to data from Prairie Ag Hotwire.

Feed wheat bids in the key cattle feeding area of Lethbridge, Alberta were in the C$180 to C$185 per tonne range as of January 20, which were relatively steady compared to the previous week, according to the latest pricing information from the provincial government.
