Winnipeg – Following are a few highlights in the Canadian and world feed grains markets on Wednesday, March 22.
Oat prices in Saskatchewan rose six cents overnight in the latest Prairie Ag Hotwire Report. They are currently listed at C$2.59-$2.76 a bushel.
According to the latest grain crushing report from the National Agricultural Statistics Survey, 530 million bushels of corn was used for alcohol and other related uses, up seven percent from the same time a year ago.
According to Grainboard.ru, Brazilian corn imports in 2016-17 will increase to 3.3 million tonnes compared to 0.3 million tonnes purchased in the 2015-16 season.

Lethbridge, Alberta were in the C$178 to C$185 per tonne range
as of March 17, which was three to five dollars higher compared to the previous week, according to the latest pricing information from the provincial government. Feed barley prices were steady to up three dollars, at C$155 to C$165 per tonne in Lethbridge.
