Sept. 6 (CNS Canada) – The following is a glance at the news moving markets in Canada and globally.
– Canada, Mexico and the United States all say they made progress in talks designed to modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement, as the second round of negotiations wrapped up in Mexico City yesterday. However, most of the tough issues, such as rules of origin, a dispute settlement mechanism and labour standards. The next round of talks is scheduled for Ottawa, September 23.

– One of the Atlantic largest hurricanes on record is bearing down on Caribbean islands, Cuba and Florida.
