US JOBLESS CLAIMS REACH TWO-MONTH-LOW
US jobless claims fell to a two-month-low according to reports out of the country on Thursday.
Jobless claims in the week ending September 17 fell 8,000 to a seasonally adjusted 252,000.
US CRUDE OIL INVENTORIES DECLINE
Inventories of US crude oil dropped last week, according to a report from the Energy Information Administration.
In the week ending September 16, the country’s stocks fell 6.2 million barrels to a total of 504.6 million.
US FEDERAL RESERVE HOLDS INTEREST RATES STEADY
The US Federal Reserve held interest rates steady in its September meeting, but indicated it could still raise interest rates by the end of the year, according to reports.
