The Olds Regional Exhibition hosted the largest Fall Classic in its history from October 3-6, 2024. With over 450 head of cattle and 114 exhibitors from across Western Canada, the event exceeded all expectations and solidified its place as a premier showcase for cattle producers in the region.

The Stars of Tomorrow Jackpot Show drew widespread attention. Judged by Kord Phillips of Kay-R Land and Cattle Company from Onoway, Alta., the show had a total payout of $6,250. Phillips praised the exceptional quality of cattle exhibited, making this year’s Jackpot Show one of the most exciting to date.

The breed shows were judged by the father- and-son team of Riley and Vernon Lafrenz from Wheatland Cattle Company near Bienfait, Sask. The event featured high-calibre cattle from producers across Western Canada.
