Agribition sees highest attendance in 18 years

Canadian Western Agribition saw a total attendance of 142,807 for the 2023 show, which took place November 20-25, 2023. This number is the highest attendance CWA has seen since 2005, and up 19 per cent from 2022. 

On the show side of things, GVR Miss Peppa 21J took the Supreme Champion female title, with heifer calf at side, Black Gold/Greenwood Peppa 7L. Ryley and Toby Noble of Black Gold Simmentals, Lloydminster, Sask., co-own the animal with Greenwood Cattle. Corey Lees saw his first Supreme win with Polled Hereford bull Glenlees AXA Evolve ET 112J. Glenlees Farm of Arcola, Sask., co-owns the bull with AXA Polled Herefords, New Brunswick, and River Valley Polled Herefords, Newburgh, Ont. The First Lady Classic winner was Black Gold Ms Hayleigh 153K, exhibited by Bar SK Cattle Company of Lloydminster, Alta. The President’s Classic winner was WF Capital 164L, exhibited by Wallgren Farms of Edgerton, Alta.
