Our condolences to the Earley family on the passing of George Earley of Kerwood, Ont. Known to many in the Angus circles, Earley served as Canadian Angus Association president in 1978 and was seen as an exemplary cattle producer, mentor and community member.

Earley devoted his life to the cattle and sheep industries, mentoring youth and auctioneering. He has enjoyed many friendships across the country through his cattle and sheep travels. He was well-known in many circles and a dear friend to many. He will be missed for his quick wit, opinions and guidance, which covered a wide range of topics including phragmites, roads, politics and cattle.
