The Canadian Speckle Park Association would like to congratulate Mara Vogel and Shelby Peacock who are members of the Speckle Park Junior community. This February, they participated in the Prairieland Youth Leadership Conference, an event offering Saskatchewan’s 4-H members the chance to earn scholarships totalling $12,000. Approximately 60 youths between the ages of 15 and 21 engaged in a series of activities over the two-day conference, including debates and leadership tasks. The top five performers were recognized with scholarships. Shelby Peacock from Spot R None farm secured second place and received a $3,000 scholarship. Mara Vogel from Legacy Speckle Park and Angus claimed third place and a $2,500 scholarship. This event not only rewards academic achievement but also fosters invaluable connections and friendships among attendees.

Just a reminder that the Canadian National Junior Speckle Park Show will be held July 8-12 in Olds, Alta., in conjunction with Summer Synergy. Please email Makenzie at [email protected] if you have any questions.
