Two additional human bird flu cases confirmed in California

Chicago wheat extended gains on Thursday as traders assessed whether increased tensions between Russia and Ukraine and persistent dryness in grain production areas around the world may curb global wheat exports, analysts said.


There is a 60 per cent chance of La Niña weather conditions emerging in September-November and they are expected to persist through January-March 2025, a U.S. government forecaster said on Thursday.
