Western Stock Growers’ Association Addresses Itself Directly to Prime Minister
Association President presents background and present conditions in Canada’s beef cattle industry and advocates removal of embargo on export of beef cattle to United States.

‘Dear Prime Minister (March 27, 1948),

I have been instructed by the Board of Directors of this Association to write directly to you in connection with Canada’s Beef Cattle Industry. The decision for this instruction was arrived at only after full discussion of the Industry and government policy during the War and Post-War Period.
