A glimpse of the livestock handling demonstrations at Ag in Motion in 2019. Livestock Central has moved online for 2020.

Though the format will look different, beef producers can expect to find just as much value in this year’s edition of Ag in Motion.

The first-ever digital version of one of Western Canada’s favourite farm shows will feature a lineup of seminars, panel discussions and video demonstrations tailored for beef producers to enjoy at home.

2020 marks the sixth year for Ag in Motion, which is usually held at Langham, Sask. and draws huge crowds of farmers and ranchers eager to learn, connect and do business. Due to social distancing protocols and provincial health regulations, the live farm show has taken on a new life as a virtual event, taking place July 21-25. The show will be free to attend and on demand, featuring a wide variety of informative sessions and a digital trade show to engage with exhibitors.

A number of breeds will be on display in the Beef Breeds Showcase for virtual walk-throughs, and each day features a series of livestock-specific seminars.

The first Beef Day, to be held on Wednesday, July 22, will include sessions on using EPDs and genomics in your herd, making production decisions with genetic information and field backgrounding your calves.
