Canadian Simmental Association bylaws

The Canadian Simmental Association has received government approval of bylaw changes granting 7/8 Simmental bulls purebred status and revising the upgrade table. This provides equality in the upgrading process between male and female Simmentals.

The bylaw changes, including the revised upgrade table, take effect on animals born on or after January 1, 2024. This will not change the fraction of animals born before then.
