– United States President Donald Trump was tweeting about trade, tariffs, and China Tuesday morning, claiming that “China wants a deal!” and also saying that U.S. farmers will benefit with or without an agreement. The two countries have agreed to continue talking, according to reports out of China.
– WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned messaging app, has been hit by an ‘advanced’ cyber-attack, and is urging its 1.5 billion users to update the program. The attack allows hackers to install surveillance software on a ‘select number’ of users.
– United Nations investigators are calling for the international community to cut off all aid to Myanmar’s military following a fact-finding mission into crimes against humanity in the country. There has apparently been no progress in protecting the minority Rohingya people, with an estimated one million of the minority group in exile.
