Due to the uncertainty in the industry and unknowns around future COVID-19 restrictions, the Canadian Angus Association board has decided to cancel the 2021 CAA Convention, scheduled to take place in Saskatoon from June 10 to 12.

The 2021 CAA AGM will be moved to Angus Central, the office in Rocky View County, Alberta, with both virtual and in-person attendance options. It will follow the June CAA board meetings. The CAA will continue to monitor Alberta Health Services guidelines and provincial restrictions with the hope to have as many traditional convention-related events as possible. The CAA will remain fluid to adapt to the situation and looks forward to being able to announce updated information on the events of that week in the coming months.

There was excitement about the showcase that the hosts in Saskatoon and the Saskatchewan Angus Association were going to provide. The CAA Convention and AGM will return to Saskatchewan in 2023.
