Canadians represent at World Charolais Technical Conference in Ireland

At the recent World Charolais Technical Conference in Ireland, Candace By of Regina, Sask., was re-elected as secretary for her fourth term. Brendan Scheiwe of Australia was elected president. Also elected were Kamil Malat (vice-president), Czech Republic; Dominique Loulerge (vice-president), France; and Cécile Lainé (treasurer), France. Besides many from Ireland who took part in parts of the conference focused on research and EPD, there were 70 people from 11 countries who attended this eight-day event.

Canadians attending the World Charolais Technical Congress in Ireland included Helge and Candace By, Sask.; Bob and Diane Eastwood, N.B.; Roger Maloney and Helen Lynett, Ont.; Brian and Karissa Weeks, Alta.; and Brian and Heather Coughlin, Ont.
