Hereford breeders gather in Manitoba

On August 26, the Manitoba Hereford Association held their 2023 field day hosted by Twin View Polled Herefords, with over 100 cattle entered. The association thanks judges Doug Allison, Neil Carson and Andre Steppler. 

Show result highlights:

  • Junior Heifer Calf Champion was RSK SCK 7165 Ms Nellie Et 92l. 
  • Senior Heifer Calf Champion was Sinnibars 401G Pixie 109L.
  • Yearling Heifer Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Female was XLP SF Jazzy ET 61K.
  • Junior Bull Calf Champion was KTCT 35J Jack 32L.
  • Senior Bull Calf Champion was RSK SCK 207H New Noise ET 42L.
  • Grand Champion Bull was RSK SCK 207H New Noise ET 42L.
  • Two-Year-Old Cow-Calf Champion and Grand Champion Female was Blair-Athol 124E Sassy 145J and Blair-Athol AD 27C Saucy 14L.
  • Mature Cow-Calf Champion was GLENLEES 102B Reva 14F and Sinnibars 401G Lonestar 112L.

Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor was RSK Farms. Commercial Calf Champion and Yearling Heifer Champion was KTCT. Commercial Cow-Calf Champion was Manns Polled Herefords.

Senior Champion judge was Kennedy Manns. Reserve Senior Champion judge was Regan Frey. Intermediate Champion judge was Sigga Vigfusson. Reserve Intermediate Champion judge was Teegan Hyndman. Junior Champion judge was Harley McCauley. Reserve Champion Junior judge was Lucas Bieganski.
