After a two-year hiatus, the Livestock Markets Association of Canada (LMAC) annual convention was back stronger than ever.

Held in Lloydminster, Alta., from May 5 to 8, Northern Livestock Sales, headed up by Brent Brooks, did an outstanding job of hosting the 23rd Annual Canadian Livestock Auctioneer Championship competition and annual meeting.

Thirty-seven auctioneers from across Canada competed selling cattle of all kinds as well as black box items. Brooks and his crew were able to put together over 4,000 cattle to sell, with the quality of cattle being outstanding.
